Ever since I have started working, been looking forward to holidays!

Cause every time after work I would try and reach home early to do work outs in my room and start going into gaming mode >.<

Still getting fat though!


Hmmm...

Will try and keep this short but I have a feeling it will be slightly long.

And I am sleepy right now so I can't guarantee I am expressing my thoughts correctly.


Looks like things are settling down in YouTube.

Great!

Hatred between each other should die off fast.

Bad for health.

It was fun to watch the responses too despite getting pissed off by FHS's videos.

Since they spatted out, it feels as if I had settled my inner fire.

Usually by sleeping :P

Kudos to both sides (but I am still on Singaporean side duh).


But sometimes some jackass enjoy giving us more ammo to shoot at them.

Unlike other countries, Singapore is a country located on an island.

Our laws are meant to keep us safe and secured.

We are not just multi-racial and multi-cultural.

We are also international.

My office colleagues do not just consist of just Singaporeans but also Filipinos, Malaysians, Indonesians, Indians, Chinese, Portugueses, Australians, British and a few more.

And to top it up, all of them are BILINGUAL.
English + some other languages.

Why would they bother working at Singapore if you think Singapore is a crazy place to stay with all our extreme laws and stuff?

Well, suck it up dude.

It is the extreme law which keeps us safe and secure which in turns keep businesses in Singapore ETHICAL and steady.

The offset, well...

Obviously, we get stress up often.

So when our government or any other related organization makes mistakes, they will (in singlish from here) KeNa SUAN by public.

Then we will wait for entertainment from Mr. Brown :P

And many other interesting comments and gags which sometimes actually provides constructive solutions.



Seriously, get a grip.

At least our leaders will try and DO after they talk (even though some or maybe most of the time their ideas of a solution, temporary or not is not THAT appealing).
 


You can stop further disgracing your country as I have FRIENDS who are living there.

Not just in the U.S.A or Australia side but also in Finland, Germany, Canada and New Zealand.

Was actually doing pure Recon until I kind of got bored and decided to go Assault/Medic class for once.

Did well surprisingly~

Oh, and don't ask me how the heck the 1st guy got that much score because I have absolutely no idea.

And I had to do extra work for a few losing rounds till then end cause my team mates and squad mates were CMI.

And I had to stop myself from "1 more round" @_@

Ah well, at least the results personally was quite satisfying >.<

Been Busy

Okie dokie.

Been a while for Sep since I updated my blog.

Had to adjust to working life first aye.

Glad that I managed to submit my work to the tech before my trainer flew off for his holiday.

At least I just have to watch out for all the errors I made and make sure I don't have more of my careless mistakes.


And for today, was supposed to go for kendo training....

But as usual I ended up oversleeping and woke up at 11.30 AM -_-

Maybe I should stick like last time, don't sleep for Saturday night.

Sure "awake" on Sunday morning.


So for now, I am playing...

The international edition region is not out yet for the White Knight Chronicles 2 so the import will not work ._.

But I will leave that alone for now as I have taken an interest in something else =D

Missed so much the fun and laughter Disgaea series provides to it's players~

Was on strictly non-lethal play through.
Exception only to Boss Fights.
Realized I picked up a couple of frags and frag mine.
What better timing to use it and free up some inventory space =D

There are many other ways to defeat him including throwing the barrels, fire extinguishers and gas canisters but I just want to throw some frag rounds since I can't use them on non-lethal play through :P

I just like Razer stuff~

Not to mention I always use Intel and nvidia =D

But there are a few things that are not properly addressed to in this video.

How do they deal with graphics card overheating issues?
Hmm, not just graphics card, all the hardware inside.
Laptop users should know just how fast their laptop tends to heat up fast unless they use a cooling pad.

As for gaming wise, we tend to check out gfx heat more often.
Especially when it comes to using high powered gfx.


Battery life and time.
Self explanatory.

Are there only 2 USB ports?
Cause that's the most I can spot on their left side.
And from my info, MacBookAir only has 2 USB ports too.
Not to forget these 2 are around the same thin and sleek design.
The video did not really rotate the laptop to the right and the back.
And if I did not see wrongly, there seems to be a HDMI port? o.o

Another IO port question.
I only saw the port for audio (headphone/speakers).
Where's the port for mic?

The LED touch panels.
How exactly does it takes the game data and display over there?
Does it work for all games or does it have to be updated every time for a new game?
And you know certain gamers tend to be rough with the stuff when they panic or stress etc, how impact resistant it is?

Some other stuffs but lets just leave it as it is more now.

So I decided to HoN match make solo and had an unexpected result.

Anyway, this account was created initially for the sole purpose of testing out HoN heroes and I only started earlier this month.
Gonna make it as my main since I had been using it more than my reserved account.

But that will be after I earned enough Silver to get my Rampage alternate avatar.

Maybe another round or two I might have enough but that will be tomorrow morning instead.

I want to sleep earlier today.

Everyone's lagging but I was not affected that much excluding the random spikes I keep experiencing through out the whole game.
As usual, family streaming session.

It was getting on my nerves actually as I was already feeling very tired and felt like going to bed soon.

And since Hellborne refused to remake saying that they are not being affected and due to the fact all 4 of my team mates were having super lags, decided to play a bit more aggressive than usual.

People like having free wins over laggy opponents and act high and mighty.
Too bad I ain't really lagging.

And I am really feeling very lucky this month...
Which in this game it started out with Blood Lust (aka First Blood).
I rarely do that even in DoTA.

One of my teammates DC-ed and never returned so it became 4v5.

Decided to go on a hunt.
Mostly all fountain charges :P

Ended up that I managed to go on an ownage spree and dominated at least 2 (or was it 3?) of their heroes.

Until they started using their brains and went on a party quest.

But someone warded for the team and we managed to catch RPG-ers in jungles.

Wards ftw~

Mymirdom and Moon Queen was 2 good backups despite the lag while I charged in and soaked up most of the damage~

If it wasn't for the lag, I think Moon Queen will be owning instead and I will be taking my own sweet time doing random charges.

Thunderbringer was a good dare devil too.
Instead of just casting ulti and hiding behind, he will actually come closer and spam all his spells.

Hellbourne finally reached an agreement to concede after 36mins so Legion won.
Yay?

They might not have been playing seriously.
Or they were really that bad.
I don't know.
It just seems too easy.

I assumed they are not lagging bad since remake did not pass at all.
Which I also gave a No too.
Server seems to be lagging for my 2 matches today so I did not see the point of it.

Or was it that I really improved again?
My spree seems to be getting better and better everyday ._.
Not just in gaming alone.
Other stuffs too.

Might be the fact that I am feeling a little bit happy not needing to attend my retarded school for a while.

Front Mission Evolved

Summary: Not fun (for me, seriously).

Ok, anyway....
I did not enjoy this game much after a 3 hour play through and no, I have not completed it yet.
The combat system has change and is too similar to Armored Core series even though I like it.
From Software.
AC and it's combat system is more or less their trademark.

The reason why I did not enjoy it was because it's originality was gone =(
Even some, or should I say most settings were too similar to AC's.
They should have named this Armored Core Evolved instead.

So, this game is an extreme disappointment for me.
It was fun playing though... just not the settings, story line and new combat gameplay.
I actually preferred the older ones where it's tactics based.

Since I spent $30 for this...
Might as well make good use of it first.

Better than leaving my FFXIII and Star Ocean aside and not touching.
Good games these days are hard to find.
Not that I do not appreciate the developers hard work.

It's just that new games have super weak story line which discourages me to continue on.
So-so combat gameplay improvements that makes it too easy...
But definitely a thumbs up for nice graphics.

Old games are like invaluable treasures to me now >.<

If this game bores me tomorrow...

Well, I will be asking around for anyone who can lend me Disgaea!

Why am I touching my PS3 all of a sudden?
First I need to spin it so it won't spoil due to long term inactivity.

That said, I am still feeling like jelly thanks to flu.

Went for interview last Wednesday.
First one in fact.
And had no idea what crap I talked about when I was inside.
It lasted around 15 minutes.
Not to forget I was having nervous spikes.
But lucky me, my 3 interviewers were really friendly =D

Oh, and not to mention I sometimes have the habit to set my clock 20 minutes in advance so.....
I arrived too early!
LoL.

Will have to wait around for 2 weeks to know who gets hired.
In the mean time, I will study till paper end then go and mass apply other jobs.
And also enjoy my new games I have been buying off Steam >.<

Have to say though, I need to spend lesser now because of this.

Shogun 2 Total War Hard Difficulty with Hojo

Got lazy and decided to play the lesser managing method of castle defense.

Imagine the whole world ganging on you.
For Shogun 2 Total War, after being legendary by winning battles - lots of them, the whole of Japan turn on you when an event called Realm Divide occurs.

Basically the Shogun and the rest of the clans in Japan is upping the difficulty in you winning the campaign - any way possible.

This poor castle of mine had been under assault 2 times in a row and this particular battle was the 3rd in the row in the same turn when the AI was under control.

Not to forget to mention it was assaulted by 3 stacked armies.

For a short calculation, 1 fully stacked army consists of 20 units in them.
1 unit's number depends on the type of unit so it varies.

I had no choice but to control the battle personally instead of using the handy auto-resolve when I am feeling lazy.

And since I wanted it to end as early as possible (which it didn't), I did not use slow-mo for this battle so I ended up neglecting a few of my units.

More like after I send them go "HUAT AR!!!" and I forgot about them!
2 units went gone case and I only managed to salvage 4 almost GG red health (dying) units.
Another 2 units dropped from green to yellow strength.
Meaning about half dead.
1 of the red strength unit only left 2 in it >.<

Good thing their reinforcements came in late!
And lucky me my battle timer by default was 20mins.
I think I might go nuts if I try to attempt very hard.

After this, there was actually a 4th assault on another castle...

I was too tired especially with my flu.
So I saved - quit the game - and went to bed~

And to my dear friends who once asked if I could micro manage - my answer still remains the same as you can see from the video....

Worst Possible Start for Mass Effect 3?

Damn this was hilarious!
A caution for people who have not yet touch ME 1 and ME2 at all as it contains major plot spoilers.

I always played as a Paragon but I did have a Renegade Shepard.
I did not play complete as a Renegade though.
Too used to always playing as the good guy first.
Just so happens I have never had a game which I completed playing as the bad guy >.<

I should really make a new save game data soon.
After I get my Shepard to romance Thane this time round~

On a side note, I disliked Ashley so I sent her for the nuclear bomb on ME1.
._.

I don't know why but I just really don't like her.
She sounded like a bitch a lot of times to me >.<

I think it is because people wants to be a part of a loop thinking that by doing the in-news, there are in the flow and achieved something by "Oh, I know this news!" and start talking about it as if they are involved in the whole thing or affair, which again I find that stupid.

You really want to make a difference?
You can start by doing what you really want to do, not what you should do.
Then do what you should do for what you want to do.

You don't have to be part of the so-called world news and in-loop to live your life.
It's your life, your choice.
You can choose to ruin it or live it to your fullest cause at the end of the day, we are still going for an eternal nap.
No point hiding behind masks and act when you are outside of your comfort zone.

Life is short after all.

And before any reader of my blog misunderstand, I am not trying to act big or anything.
I am just voicing out in my own way since I generally do not speak much normally.
I am just feeling disgusted.

After reading till the end, you still have no idea?

Dragon Age 2: Legacy

It's out today.
Unfortunately for me, I can't get it as it's a DLC not an expansion like DA:O's Awakening.

Meaning I can't get this from retail =(

Plus I was paying another sleep debt and ended up waking around 4pm.
Kinda late for me to go to the bank and apply for a debit card.

Decided to finally get one so I could order or pre-order from Steam, EA or get DLCs from Bioware.

Not to mention I have not touched any Fallout: New Vegas DLCs at all T_T

But as for FoNV, I might want to wait till GOTY edition if they have it.
As long as it's a full collection of the game I would gladly wait for it and then sell the older one if anybody wants it.
I still prefer a solid hard copy.

Typing of the Dead 2 (2007)

No way I can reach this typing speed without looking at my keyboard.
Yet =P
1 day, who knows?

Found the older TotD in my games folder where the characters are actually strapped with DreamCast and keyboards instead of guns in TotD2.
Good thing it's still working while running it in compatibility mode.

Sad to say my skills dropped madly.
And my special key skills are still GG.

One weird thing though.
As I am typing this post of mine I am actually touch typing without even the need to look at my keyboard. But sometimes I do need to look at my keyboard to find a single key when I start typing or when I have to key in my special long passwords.

But when I was playing the game earlier on every time I typed halfway I keep looking at my keyboard =P
Wondering what's up with that.
Or maybe the speed requirement is still kind of too fast for me now.

As for TotD2.
If I got my hands on it.
Well, I think I will definitely set the difficulty to very easy first! XP
That speed is currently super way beyond me >.<
And I still know people who can probably type faster than that!

Assingment 2 GG

This here, is the screen I had been staring at almost non-stop for the past 2 weeks.
I can hardly even sleep with all the code ideas swimming around in my head.
Which means this also includes my computer being on for 2 to 3 weeks plus!
Really need to give it a good pat and a good rest.
I can finally do my work without the need of worrying it dying on me like last time.
Believe or not even using multi tab browser like FireFox(I open a lot :P) I can get black screen of death while running on a core2duo.

Anyway.
I am not great at programming but I like it (and also hate it) =P
Makes no sense?
I would suggest you to give it a try or take a course for it.

That said, I tried my best already even though it was not enough.
Yet my bad habit and stubbornness keeps kicking in when I got ram into a problem.
Unless I find some way to at least make it work some how, I will end up getting stuck there for like... hmmm, I not sure! LoLx.

And then the rest of what I wana type happens to be in a chat I had with a friend yesterday night.

FYI, I actually started my assignment damn early.
But, ya, the break down part and the... "damn, still got time lah, relax relax, take a deep breath and turn your attention somewhere for a while"
I spent 2 weeks playing games till I recovered >.<

Good thing is I can also brush up my ASP.NET knowledge a bit more so I can deal with jobs that require this skill.
I think I will still stick to VB.NET for now but I really really wana move on to C side.
VB.NET is good for learning but can be.... inflexible I think.
Plus the bugs! :P
Anyway, all program will have bugs just like a human will have a flaw in them.
But then again the IDE.... oh well, never mind.

And with all my rantings, figures.
Looks like I will still stick to programming a while more even when I got a job~

Time for me to finally get a good rest.
